My guess at this point is that the E. Jean Carroll civil rape and defamation case will fail to reach a unanimous verdict of the nine jurors against Trump and he will dodge this bullet. As a civil case he would only be financially responsible if he loses but that does require a unanimous verdict.
On the other hand, Trump's social media ravings about the case are putting him in criminal jeopardy by ignoring the rulings of the court. The trial is supposed to end by late next week. |

The GOP is a fading force. That conservatives would be so desperate to halt and reverse the decline of the nation that they would heartily endorse and support someone like Donald Trump is evidence enough. We used to be the party of family values and fiscal responsibility and now, in a demented race to the bottom, we're no better than the Democrats. We can deride a POS like Hillary, Pelosi, Hunter Biden, etc but ransack the capital over Trump... goddamn sad. All that's left are token jabs at spending cuts that won't help.
The demographics of this country will decrease the amount of GOP representation in the federal, and eventually, state governments. When the liberals pass changes to the citizenship requirements, they will add millions of illegals to their rolls. Texas is one or two elections away from becoming blue for eternity. And when Texas goes blue, we won't have another Republican head of state for a lifetime. I mean, we're pretty close now, as seen by a goofball like Beto who keeps running for everything from dogcatcher up and getting a disproportionate number of votes. The Republican conservatives in America already are ejected from city governments all over the nation, a creeping, corrosive trend that is beginning to yield its results. Talk about slippery slope. The Democrats have turned San Francisco, LA, Seattle, St. Louis, NYC, Chicago, Portland, Austin, etc ad infinitum into dystopian freakshows of crime and filth. https://youtu.be/VbcX8f9moD8 |
In some Danish article the headlines said
The upcoming Presidential election in the States-will be the most bored in the political history. I think it will be kind of a cirkus or kindergarten if you want-Bored!? No! We have our own kindergarten here in Denmark too you know. A Danish election isn't exactly bored. Markus |

I don't think Trump will avoid serious consequences but that should be a plus for the GOP. |
