How do you get custom emblems? I was just searchin and found 2 that I think U-563 used...

You either make them yourself or ask someone if they are willing to help you.
There are quite a few in GWX 2.0 and I believe there are still a few emblem packs out there.
TarJak is also working on an emblem pack, but as far as I know, progress has been slow of late and release is not due soon. :arrgh!:

How do you add an emblem to the conning tower and what size does it have to be?

I don't know if any size matters or what the size limit is if there is one. The T-Rex picture I posted is the actual size of the one I saved into my emblems folder. I've taken a look at all the emblems in that folder and they're all different sizes. I'd say just drop your picture into the folder and try it out on a test sub to see how it looks. It seems that the game resizes the image automatically to fit.

where is the emblems folder?

The only limitation is that the image is a square e.g. 200x200px .TGA image. Details on how to create them are posted in earlier pages of this thread.
