So a Classical myth?
Hi, sorry have been trying to complete some minor .. err .. repairs in the house.
Yes, classical, yes, a myth AND mditerranean. Come on, there aren't so much :yep: Aktungbby already mentioned it some posts ago .. solution is only one word, comprising the three pictures, and the last does not match the letters, but the sound. |
Is it the Odyssey? (Ode+IS+sea)? Aktung mentioned sirens the other day...
And that's an odd number of odd fellows:O:
YES :D
Was the Sirens(?) post, the troglodyte or Polyphem (does he have three eyes, on the picture??), and Ulyses' home island of Ithaca mentioned, with his wife Penelope (and her suitors, waiting to be slaughtered). Why, b.t.w., isn't it called Ulyssey in english – i mean if you call him Ulysses, rather than Odysseus? :hmmm: First picture is sure odd second is IS (sorry, should be daesh :03:) and third is sea. Well i admit the letters do not match exactly  Its Eichhörnchen's turn :salute: |
Continuing the Classical theme:
dead heat?
Nope
Hmm first Stheno and Euryale, or their sister Medusa. Or generally a Gorgon.
Second is a .. what? Marathon? Run? Running? :hmmm: Head start? |
do the runner's numbers signify anything? 86 is synonymous with death see me (medusa) and your 86'd?
Is the second image a pic of Zola Budd the S African Olympic athlete?
A Greek marathon?
Two of you are right on it... Catfish: it is what you said it is generally, and Moonlight: correct athlete. So what's the (smelly) answer?
is this a smelly cheese attack!:arrgh!:
:haha:  this was nice.
Gorgonzola @Aktung, why didn't you .. ? But i give the victory to Moonlight, i never would have found out the runner.. |
