We are not leaving, they twist and turn and sell us the big lie but some of us can see through their smoke and mirrors and see the truth we are staying in the EU.

This German editorial concludes that neither May nor Davies really want to execute the Brexit, and delay things in order to signal Brussels that they do not want it at all.

https://www.welt.de/debatte/kommenta...en-Brexit.html

Is the obvious truth hidden in plain sight, maybe? That there will be no Brexit and that it is not seriously wanted, not planned for, not mulled at all? It woudl explain why May, instead of pressing the gas pedal to the metal, just takes an even longer holiday, and that there are not serious preparations for the time after Brexit being done at all. Lets face it, the British represetnatives behave like idiots when meeting the EU so far, and are ill-prepared on every meeting, grinning wide, and wasting time.

Politicians. They should be listed as one of the biblical pests. As long as people tolerate their existenc time and again, they will get consumed by them. And since they tolerate them and bring them to power and believe them their lies and excuse their crimes and cheatings, people do not deserve anything better.

STEED 08-22-17 05:55 PM

Brexit is the big lie, I came to that conclusion the second Mrs May said she would not trigger it for six months.

There could be an element of truth in what you post Sky....the doubters are certainly growing in number.

Political parties were given a record £40.1m in donations ahead of June's general election - and the Conservatives received more than all their rivals combined.

:hmmm:

Catfish 08-24-17 09:23 AM

While those donations are breathtaking i cannot see how a party wins just with using more money for advertising, at least in Europe (sorry UK for including you here).
Would you vote for a party or candidate you do not like or respect or think of being on the wrong way, even if you saw 90 percent more advertising and TV time about it/him, than about their adversaries?
I guess not, not even with really better arguments. People don't react that way.
In the US, no candidate without billions to spend can even become a candidate, but it's different here.

STEED 08-24-17 04:44 PM

Most people here would vote for a pig as long as it had the party's rosette on it.

Just wish I could get to vote for this great party..

The Tories will be loving this.

Net migration has fallen to the lowest level for three years after a surge in the number of EU nationals leaving the UK since last June's Brexit vote.
Net migration - the difference between those entering and leaving the UK - fell 81,000 to 246,000 in the year to March 2017.
More than half that change is due to a decrease in net migration of EU citizens, which is down 51,000.
The government is committed to reducing net migration to below 100,000.

^ Thanks to the city in crashing the pound because they lost millions on the bet we would vote to remain. As I have already posted these pigs win in the good and bad times, if the pound bounced back they would still be here.

This could be the norm in a few years time if this gets the go ahead, these politicians are the thickest bunch of prats we've ever had as they are blinded by the scent of a backhander, money rules, especially to a Tory.

I think the above makes a lot of sense but then I remember who the leader is and how anti-EU he has always been so I'm not sure I can believe what they are currently proposing.
