Nice atmospheric effects around a two - merchant ship convoy. It had a pretty large escort for its size - at least one Destroyer, a sloop (?), and a Corvette.

Really? I cant login at all, no problems yesterday. It says I have no internet connection, yet I post here.

Edit; I can login and start the game, but when I try to load a game or start a new campaign I am told there is no internet connection.

Edit2: Somebody fixed something somewhere, because its back up.

I really hope that the game looks better when its played. These screenshots aren't impressing at all. looks like a slightly improved SH4...ETWs naval battles looks better, even on my rig...

Did just sink a lone merchant north of england when got report task force closing in. Started zooming horizon with periscope and what did i see, 8 destroyers and middle of them, Nelson class battleship. Shaking from adrenaline rush i shouted to torpedoman to preheat precious fishes. I managed to get in perfect position and when battleship was 700m away i launched salvo from tubes 1 and 3, both did hit in target, front part of ship did burst in flames, but it didn't seem slow it down so selected tube 2 and fired again, this time fish did hit below command deck, explosions, and down it went :smug:

Nah, it looks way better than SH4, many shots here are taken with reduced settings. You can also have a look at my video some pages back, maxed out graphic settings. (Albeit only in one kind of weather)
