Me too.. from ahead standard and faster it's visable..
As far as I know it's there from day one of SH-IV...

correct, I tested it now without LBO installed and the effect is likewise visible however not as much visible as with LBO installed . I think the refined wave parameters of LBO emphasize this effect still more strongly.

It's a slight rendering problem like the morphing

clouds use to be originaly.

Actualy there is a new angle we are looking at to try and fix it that never dawned on us before. Never stoped trying to fix that problem just fining the fix first.

Toy sub ??

Hi Guys ,

Looking at the 2 pics posted by Leovampire , I cant help thinking that sub looks like a small toy compared to the sea foam textures !! They just look on a completely different scale to the sub , not very realistic .

Having been at see a few times and wave/see textures are not like that !

Please take my coments onboard , and keep up the good work .

it was the smaller size of the textures that was causing the checker board effect problem in the first place that everyone was going nuts about and haited.

Do you want this?

Or this?

What makes sence to you?

AVGWarhawk 09-10-07 01:55 PM

Leo, it looks outstanding!!!!! Waiting patiently for this mod:yep: BTW, the sea foam looks just fine. As far as I know there is no standard size for sea foam. If someone can show me the book of sea foam standards I would like to take a look at it. So the comment of unrealistic does not fly. The sea foam looks fantastic and is a much needed addition to the game.

But as I said before that is why I brought on board more guys for the Reflection's on the Water mod. More heads and abilities are better than one and now it is JakeToox's second time making this mod even better!

First was making a more complete scene tweeker file that allowed me to enhance the sun, moon and cloud's reflections effect's and angles of those reflections now making the awsome sea foam Seeadler made work in the game much better!

We are finding more controls for the effect's which is what is helping to make this work. Might even be able to stop the water morphing effect that sometimes happens on the ocean.

Well, whatever you guys are doing it looks fantastic. I have been checking in all weekend to see if it has been released yet. I have to say I do not see the water morphing so I can not comment on that. I will sit quietly awaiting the download link:yep: Thanks for all your hard work on this mod. It will be a major plus when playing!

New bloke with Question

Hi all,

This is a totally new experience for me as i'm an avid Flight Simmer and have been for years. I like thing's to look and sound right, no point in having a brilliantly modelled Spitfire that sounds like a Cessna!!

I've installed LBO and wow, what a difference, it's actually improved my FPS which is always a bonus :yep:

My question is can the underwater 'shimmer' effect be toned down or even stopped? I do like the effect but it makes for poor screenies if you see what i mean?

Anywhooo, brilliant web site with some very talented like minded people, i'm going to like it here

Sav.
