Aaaawesome video of the Kamov

Nice vid showing the Kamov in-flight from 3 different angles; Cockpit cam, HUD cam & ground cam. :yeah:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0kOfRaTsYs And very cheesy presentation (or something) video of the Ka-50. :haha: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzkO1OTlAbs |

Fiddling around trying to make a recorded HUD cam footage, what ya think? (Still processing at the time of writing)

Looks nice, though a guncam from a helicopter seems rather strange unless it's a shot from the TV..err...I mean, Shkval.
|
The after picture looks good, and the video. :)
Thanks for the youtube links too. |

Ah, alright, don't think I've seen something like that before

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0kOfRaTsYs Hmm, need to add glass effect to the next HUD cam. :hmmm: |
Here be the TacView footage of the DCS:BS untracked cannon dogfights, it's not pretty, but it's accurate. (Processing at the time of writing, should be HD once processed)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJyWL93pAsM EDIT: Ow well, only as 480, but should be enough to see the name tags on who is fighting who. |
Interesting to see the TacView, my helicopter dogfighting skills are abysmal though.

Stop running away, makes you easy target. :O: You did put up a good fight against Arc even after you had lost whole rudder. :yeah:
|
I had to use the backup HUD (Shkval failure) for the dogfight with Arc, due to some dumb mistake prior to dogfight that led to minor ground impact. :dead:
I've watched the video a number of times, I've always thought that being on the move is good in dogfights, not good with helicopters it seems. :hmmm: Would be fun to try again, but with purpose built mission, engines running so start up isn't needed. |
