heya m8 i have question about MQK AN AL etc etc ... quadrat easy to finde
AN18 etc etc .... also easy to finde but AN1814 hard to finde cos when u zoom in u can't see it.

@Sjizzle.
Basic information are the two letters and the first two digits. The second two digits should guess yourself. Example screenshot on your right approach to determine the exact location on the last two digits.
I want to notice same it was not in the SH3 (if I'm not mistaken).
P.S. A more precise layout (square within a square) does not allow the file itself ".raw".

Hi Sjizzle:salute:

Yes - the map will not show that level of grid. So you must plot it yourself, as you did correctly:up:

Not all patrol areas are like that (only when close to land and small radius) - most will be mid Atlantic (large radius) and will end "55" - so dead centre of each square

here is one set from black pit
Code:

Info250R1=Patrol CE3555 zone radius 250 km. Time of patrol 72 hours. BdU
Info250R2=Reposition. Patrol CE2855 zone radius 250 km. Time of patrol 72 hours. BdU
Info250R3=Reposition. Patrol CE6755 zone radius 250 km. Time of patrol 72 hours. BdU

Please try this:-

goto C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Campaigns\CampaignProjects\Common

find file "patrol.tsr"
rename it to patrol_backup.tsr

test

please let me know if this fixed the issue:up:

please try the above fix Sober - I think that the default patrol messages are being read and not the new mission ones - renaming that .tsr should fix it

@sober.
To issue a critical error "RAW" file should not. This is the usual graphic file. During my work with this file SH5 stably worked.

Regarding quality and more information. I was limited to the possibility of "RAW" file. I did exactly as much as he allowed me to.

Find the exact position of the second pair of numbers is necessary in thoughts on the basis of this example.

as I can see there are four .tsr files - patrol(km).tsr, patrol(nm).tsr, patrol.tsr and patrol_backup.tsr.. and they are identical except the patrol(nm).tsr (because of nautical miles).. maybe Trevally meant to rename all of them except the patrol_backup.tsr? :hmmm:

Sorry guys - I should have been clearer here:oops:

I am 99% sure that the game is reading that common patrol.tsr before even looking to see if there is a specific one for each patrol mission.
If you look at that patrol.tsr - you will see that the messages you are getting is coming from it.
Delete/remane that file and the game will not find it and thus use the correct one linked in the mission file
:up:

please let me know if it works
