Must have been if they thought the need to use it.

Are things settled now?

Betonov 12-01-12 09:45 AM

It was a war zone they said. But our newspapers tend to overeact. More like a really bad football aftermath.

Things are peacefull for now. But new protests are already planned for monday, might even be worse than friday.

Jimbuna 12-01-12 09:49 AM

Well keep well away and don't get involved.

Betonov 12-01-12 11:46 AM

I doubt it. The more things will excalate, the more I'll be involved. I'll just have to stay clear of rioters. The nation hasn't been so united since 1991 during the independence movement.

These leeches will have to go. Lets just hope they bend under pressure while the protests are still peacefull.

If you must get involved try to stay safe then.

molotovs, i tell you.
good range, decent dps, superb aoe :)

'leeches': you think there are no leeches in Poland? minimum salaries, maximum prices. (oh, they call them 'European prices' since we are 'united' - too bad we are not united when it comes to money you earn) with the current pace and direction our government is going, we will reach the boiling point until Spring 2013.

I am currently rioting in Slovenia :D

Betonov 12-01-12 05:20 PM

As a ex-cop I doubt it :O:

You could teach our officers a thing or two. No one can riot like the Brits :O:

LOL :)

The interesting thing is, instructions are issued to protesters on FB on how to recognise rioters, isolate them and lead the riot police towards them.

Jim, you encountered the protesters ever working with the police while you were in the force :hmmm:

what if they had had FB during the French Revolution...
Danton would be supposed to hand Robesspierre over to the king's police, then :har:

Yes on occasion, I was part of a six man snatch squad that would rush out the ten feet or so distance to grab the main protaganists after the frontal shield layer opened up for a few seconds.

I remember the Toxteth riots in the early eighties the shields once closed before we could get back into their cover and I was black and blue for a few weeks after that :stare:

I'm going back twenty or so years now....the days when I could run away from trouble :03:
