This is by far the most unimportant Ashes Series ever and will always be remembered as such :nope:

Maybe by you, but I'm surprised that a bloke with the 3 lions tattooed on his arm would diminish the efforts of his team in this way. An Ashes series is an Ashes series regardless of how long its been between them. The teams don't see this series as being unimportant and neither do thousands of supporters on both sides.

On the actual cricket, its good to see our bowlers doing well and the pommy batsmen crumbling, but I don't think our mob has the ticker to win the series despite being hopeful that they will. Our batting top order has been way too fragile for too long. I still think I'll be buying in July regardless of the outcome of this match.

I'm off to Goa in a fortnight...the curry is much more appealing.

Are they short of forklift drivers over there?

A nice run chase for the poms but not much of a start at 2-19.

:)

England 2-24 at stumps. Will the poms wilt under the pace of Johnson and Harris again tomorrow? Let's hope so.

They'll need one to deliver my naan to the table but I may have spoken too early because the wifes employers have just told her "No holidays allowed during the month of December" which means I may yet lose the £200 deposit :stare:

Well we'll take what we can get. If both Harris and Johnson are fit it looks like a long summer for the poms.

As I said earlier I don't think that we have the ticker to go on with the job. But it's nice to see the poms on the back foot where you belong. :p

Cons:1
Poms:0
I didn't hear any wagers, so I'll pick one.

For every point scored by the Cons, Bossmark donates the same amount of pounds to his local Tory election office. £200s. Lunch is on Bossmark.:woot::woot::woot:
