Where do I go to down load this mod. And does this mean I need to Battleflag Japs subs now. LOL

This MOD is not released yet. We had some RL delays.

I take it the campaign will include a mission to kidnap Slim Pickins and attack a ferris wheel off the California coast? :DL

Can't wait for this mod.

Can't wait for this mod.

then go here :

http://www.filefront.com/13220636/V_..._JyunsenB.rar/

you'll have nearly all the subs (more in version 3.9 to be released with the campaign)

also you can add the IBDM (I-Boat Damage mod) :

http://www.filefront.com/13879049/IB...1.3_06_09.rar/

which will make your submarine take damage in a more realistic manner - please report any bugs with that one as it is still WIP.

you'll still play the german campaign for now till Peabody's ready with the japanese campaign (germans and japanese both operated from Penang and fought in the IO).

Good to see you guys are still here and the mod is still underway and heading for action. :)

RE the attack on the California coast, actually it was a small oil facility south of Santa Barbara, and they did hit a pier several times :)

That's our goal, blowing up all the piers in the US. They can built thousands of ships, but can they repair piers? I think not. :har:

There are a couple of missions to the US West coast.

New IJN Boats, IJN Deck Guns, 3D Type 88 periscope, RL IJN perioscope view, IJN Torpedoes, IJN AA guns, all japanese dials ...

all in the Jyunsen B v 3.9 mod, the mod is ready and has been for a while but writing up the campaign is a lengthly process.

In all fairness the campaign does not take this much time to write, I have just had several RL issues that must come first. I am getting there but have very limited time to work on it and test it. I am back at it and making headway.

Nautilus42 made a ship with a rocket launcher, maybe we could implement it in the IJN Campaign in 2 types :

Surface to Surface

Surface to Air

They Had the latter in 1944 aboard their capital ships and reported that they worked well.

The way I had designed the launcher was to be surface to surface. I didn't really think it would work well trying to attack an aircraft with it.
Do you have any clue as how to make such rockets ?

The ones the IJN had would fire straight in the air and explode at a set altitude, Carriers had them, so did theirs largest ships.

if there are air to ship rockets in FOTRS there should be ship to air rockets in the IJN Campaign Mod ;)
