The Diogenes Club is beginning to affect you!:O:
My take: I liked, the all timey-wimey stuff, plus the paradoxes. The resolving matter is well choose according Doctor Who myth! Next time: Vikings in Space or Space Vikings!:woot: |
Typical predicted ending, you had to been blind stinking drunk for a week not to see that coming. :O:
A fraction better than the Dalek story but not by much. Next one looks bloody awful to me and they usually are to me. |

And you know, one can think that, that universe is almost the same one of Doctor Who, with the so call "elements" could be Time Lords/ladys CIA agents! |

https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...873d588b0b.jpg The TV series may have ended but Sapphire and Steel made a come back on audio books lasting three seasons and introducing other elements like Gold and Ruby. A mix of classic TV and modern story lines. https://cavershamragu.wordpress.com/...the-passenger/ Bad news Big Finish no longer sell them. |
Rhodes have you watched The Omega Factor?
10 part series like X-files but without the Aliens, Mind over matter and other odd stories and behind the scenes a secret organization of Omega. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPXg...gPSznqC-eY7IMm If you like it some good news set 30 years on Big Finish have released four new audio stories starring Louise Jameson who was in the TV series plus Natasha Gerson. |
About your first post: yes, I know; I did some research of the series. Will end Adventure 1 today possible and go on (if survive the medical exam of tomorrow)! :woot:
>About the Omega Factor, only heard about that, but after Sapphire and Steel, it may be the next thing to watch. If I manage, because from monday, our "bbc entertaiment" like channel RTPMem (Rádio Televisão Portuguesa Memória - portuguese radio and televison memoir) is going to broadcast all X-Files episodes from S01E01 do to the new episodes next year, so...:rock: As I said before some where here in the forum, our TV mainly bought si-fy series from the US (never show Doctor Who - only saw when had cable TV do to BBC prime and it was in 1995...). Space 1999 is one exception in science fiction and possible the kids shows (my father liked stringray and thunderbirds)! :03: |
Space1999 Year One was  :yeah:
Year Two was :down: Dueing the late 1980's early 1990's I attended some conventions here in the UK tooks lots of pics of the original models. :) |

No I did not watch it, just getting in a early post even before it starts.
|
I just watched 'The Girl Who Died', and didn't think it was that bad. It wasn't that good, either; about on a par with the Matt Smith episode 'A Town Called Mercy'.
No, I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it either. And it was fun seeing Masie Williams again. I'll be watching the next one. |
Just watched the trailer for next week and I will be watching this one. U.N.I.T and a Zygon invasion please don't mess this one up.
|
Okay, I just watched last night's episode, 'The Woman Who Lived', and it was fun. More discussions on the downside of immortality, a reference to a Fifth Doctor episode and a reference to a former companion.
Not great, but pretty good. I'll give it a C+. |
Yup - I didn't think the last two episodes were too bad. The Tyburn scene in the last episode was quite well done, I thought - there is historical evidence of the condemned man cracking jokes on the gallows. Doing it properly would have required a much larger crowd though, as hangings attracted the sort of numbers you'd now see at a premier football match...
|
Just finished watching part one of the zygon invassion and this one was alright part from Kate head of UNIT wearing high heels waving a gun around! High heels and guns don't go well together, lets hope part two holds up.

I liked the episode, but can see that that plane is going to land and Kate is more that meets the eye. I wonder what her father would have done...:hmmm: |
Hours away from part two and it better be good. :hmm2:
