A new map for hunting - super work!
Sometimes i got a feeling that there is more peoples than one Venatore
and they all are working on mods;) - it's unbelievable how you, Maestro
are finding time, concepts and power to make all those beauties...:up:

Compulsory U-boat Headdress
 
COMPULSORY U-BOAT HEADDRESS
SH3 Commander Version 2.7 (realistic crew option).
GWX Expansion 2.0
  • This mod ensures all U-boat crew members wear their headdress whilst onboard you’re U-boat. The crew now wear;
  1. Officer’s cap.
  2. Enlisted sailors schiffchen cap.
  3. Helmet (this was already compulsory).
  • The files contained in this mod were extracted from the SH3 Commander Version 2.7 & GWX Expansion mod. I sought permission from both JScones & the GWX Team to alter certain files that contained the entries that determined if headdress was worn by the U-boat crew. JScones & the GWX Team kindly granted permission to mod their files that I identified to them for proposed modding.
  • I have modded the following files from SH3 Commander Version 2.7;
C:/Program Files/SH3 Commander/Crew/Realistic/data/Cfg
  • crew_config_II_1
  • crew_config_II_2
  • crew_config_II_3
  • crew_config_IX_1
  • crew_config_IX_2
  • crew_config_IX_3
  • crew_config_VII_1
  • crew_config_VII_2
  • crew_config_VII_3
  • crew_config_XXI_1
  • crew_config_XXI_2
  • crew_config_XXI_3
  • I have modded the following files from GWX Expansion mod;
C:/Program Files/Ubisoft/SilentHunterIII/data/Cfg
  • crew_config_II_1
  • crew_config_II_2
  • crew_config_II_3
  • crew_config_IX_1
  • crew_config_IX_2
  • crew_config_IX_3
  • crew_config_VII_1
  • crew_config_VII_2
  • crew_config_VII_3
  • crew_config_XXI_1
  • crew_config_XXI_2
  • crew_config_XXI_3
  • The entries "HasHelmet=No" in each of the above mentioned files has changed to "HasHelmet=Yes", this now enables all crew to wear headdress.
  • I have not tinkered/altered/modded any other part of the above mentioned files.
  • The GWX version is compatible with the GWX Expansion mod & all GWX patch upgrades.
  • The SH3 Commander version is NOT compatible with JSGME.
  • The SH3 Commander version 2.7 is only compatible with;
    1. SH3 Commander Version 2.7.
    2. GWX Expansion & all GWX patch upgrades.
  • The SH3 Commander version 2.7 is a separate mod & is NOT compatible with;
    1. JSGME.
  • Only use the SH3 Commander version 2.7, if you have selected “realistic crew option”.
  • This mod has the correct file structure pathway.
  • This mod is zipped with WinRAR.
  • Please read internal "readme" files for additional information.
  • Once again I would like to thank JScones & the GWX Team for allowing me to mod certain entries within the above mentioned files of their mod files.

Nearing 50 mods
 
I've just had a revelation, I'm nearing 50 separate mods for the Subsim community. I'm a modding junkie, I can't stop, need help, must.....keep.....modding.:dead:

I'm just returned home from hard work and i think: Just small look into SUBSIM for hot news before dinner. And what i see? Unstoppable Venatore strikes again and makes new caps for crew...Jeez...Venatore - thank you - outstanding work, man:up:

  • This mod changes the "Night filter.tga" file.
  • This mod has the correct file structure path way.

  • This mod is zipped with WinRAR.
  • This mod contains 3 x coloured filters (blue, green & red). Only one can be used at a time .

KRIEGSMARINE U-BOAT RECORDS
  • This mod replaces the gramophone music in C:/Program Files/Ubisoft/SilentHunterIII/data/Sound/Gramophone folder.
  • This mod contains 40 x records, allowing your U-Boat officers/sailors approximately 1 hour 46 minutes of morale time.
  • This mod has the correct file structure pathway.
  • This mod should be used in conjunction with Generic Mod Enabler.
  • This mod is compatible with GWX Expansion & GWX patch upgrades.
  • This mod is zipped with WinRAR.
  • This mod is approximately 87megs in size.
  • The audio files were downloaded from WW2 websites, uploaded from my own CD collection or downloaded from Subsim members (permission sought & granted).
