2. With all the major changes, can we still keep our campaigns that we are running now or do we have to start from scratch?

3. Will there be more nuetral ships out on the waters later in the war?

4. Is it possible to have the 'torpedo doors opening' sound right after the 'torpedo firing' sound? I am thinking once the torpedo is shot, the doors will have to close. I cant remember if a sound is there to represent that.

5. Is there allied air cover on convoys that contain a carrier? I only have gotten to mid 1942 so I dont know if this is modeled.

Thanks

1) I would say "no." Nothing major has popped up as a "show stopper." Some minor things have popped up and we are taking care of them.

2) No. You will need to start from scratch. We have modded the files so deeply that keeping an old career has the potential to create a great many problems.

3) Yes

4) Not without great difficulty. Maybe in our first update which is scheduled for the Spring.

5) Where appropriate, yes. That being said, we are making all efforts to make sure that large warships and carriers are "not a part of the convoy" but instead are patrolling the convoy routes as in real life to respond to a threat as it emerges.

There will be an update in the Spring following it's release? :o Don't you guys ever take a break or more importantly get to enjoy the fruits of your own labour? God knows you deserve it. :)

Thanks for your concise update and I look forward patiently to the release whenever that may be.

Rats. Oh well. Have you checked to make sure that JScones SHIII Commander works with your new mod? Or is it not a issue with your mod and his program?

Its not a big deal. More of a eye kandy thing than anything else.

Though this phase of the testing has not been reached yet... It is certainly part of our requirements to be fully compatible with SH3 Cmdr.

I have looked for a release date on your homepage, but haven't found it yet.
When will it be released? As of now I run vanilla, as I don't want to install anything big before the release.

We are in the middle of beta testing at the moment. Which runs for 30 days. When this is over it should not be long till you guys get hold of it. You should be looking towards around Xmas time.

How do you guys do Beta testing. Is it the Dev team sitting 24*7 playing SHIII with GWX?

Im not part of the GWX dev team. Just a very lucky Beta tester. I was asked by Kpt. Lehmann if i would like to help beta test GWX. And ofcourse i jumped at the chance.:D It is pretty much playing SH3 with GWX and much is humanly possible without getting into trouble at work. Oh and not getting trouble with the wife.

Kpt. Lehmann sir...just reporting in to let you know I am still beta testing the expansion of the mod of all mods  but am unable to gain access to the beta testers forum/area because of a glitch with my poxy wireless router

Something to do with 'permissions access' or whatever according to my better informed I.T. associate!! :nope:

I wish I knew more because it don't seem to affect my access to subsim :yep:

A new router is on order and due this friday

I assure you I have not gone AWOL or deserted the cause...I continue to test it's proverbial bo**ocks off and remain truly amazed at what you and the dev team have created.

I decided to post this here rather than PM you in order that my fellow beta testing kaleuns do not decide to torpedo me when I surface hopefully this Friday :D

I remain true to the cause...your loyal kaleun
