Pants, and all who think the moderator is at fault,
What kind of forum would you like to have here? One where people constantly troll, snipe, insult and fight with each other? Because without Gizzmoe and the other moderators trying to address these issues, that's the kind of forum this place would be. When someone trolls GW or Kpt Lehmann, how many of you would like Gizz to look the other way? When some people trolled GW recently, you know who was the first person to contact me and mention it? Gizz. If Gibbs no longer wishes to participate in discussions here, that's his perogative. I'll remove his account. Any posts he has not already screwed up will be left intact. He's not the only person who uses the forum. When a thread involves dozens of people discussing a subject, it really handicaps people reading the thread later when there are gaps in the discussion. It's really hard to understand why a grown man would sit at a keyboard and spend the time to delete his posts, because he has been suspended for a few days. It's too bad there isn't a maturity filter in the forum registration process. |
Why not let Gibs back to give his side of the story. Im sure he had reason for doing what he did. Lets at least here his side of the argument.
Well thats my view anyway. @Kpt Sorry for posting this here but i did not find another thread that cattered for this post. And due to Neals post above i belive this post to be made in the right place. But rest ashured this is my last non GWX post in this thread:yep: I like the people who posted below am looking forward to beta testing time. ;) |
I don't want to be sure, as I'm sure Gibs made good contributions, but as someone posted before, this is the GWX thread. I know I'm the last person to say this, as I helped it go in the opposite dirrection (we all know why :oops:), but serious things like that should be deal in another thread or over PM's.
Now can someone explain to me what "trolling" is? |

And here's my tuppenth worth .. you may or may not have noticed that there are some people on this Forum (myself included) are waiting patiently for the Beta-Test. We are getting a 'progress report' by visiting this thread.
The other 'stuff' belongs somewhere else. If a person feels so strongly about the other issue or issues then I suggest they use their initiative and start a thread in the appropriate place. |
