On my 12th patrol as commander of U-48, Oberleutnant zur See Helmut von Wallenberg, somewhere west of England, my crew and boat have to endure a strong breeze while the boat is stomping up and down in the Atlantic...

...and finally we spotted the reported convoy in AM seventysomething and managed to pick a Fiji class out of it! Cheers went through the crowded bow torpedo room as the ship's aft rose into the sky before following the bow on its way to the seafloor.
