And probably to make such variant ? :hmm:

That notepad is a bit redundant when using this mod and was probably removed to make room for other stuff for that reason. My guess is that it will be enough of a problem to make everything fit with the larger AOB finder.

D.Kruger I'm wondering what tga you changed to get the notpad back, and in autotargeting does the data flow to it still in this mod?

joegrundman 01-21-08 09:38 PM

@Danurve

I'm not sure entirely what it is you are wanting from this mod, but if it's just the tools but otherwise wish to retain normal SH3 capabilities and interface, maybe you should look at the U-jagd forum.

joegrundman; how did you determine that? Nevermind, I don't use manual targeting but I enjoyed this GUI. And so, for my own use, I was looking to get the notepad back with the info/jazz, but that would zap a stopwatch. From other posts in this thread it would seem the release for gwx 2.* has the ship ID in the observation scope but I run 1.03. And so that is that, while OLC GUI is a great mod it is tuned for manual targeting. I've uninstalled this for now but I figgure to poke around now and then.

Just incase i haven't missed anything, is there any updates for this or is OLC 1.1 still the latest.

Running OCL 1.1 with black version.

Running OCL 1.1 with black version.

The 1st post of the thread is kept up to date with the latest version (currently 1.1.5 for GWX2, 1.1.4 for Stock - also 1.1.4 for GWX can be found in the Archived folder of my FF page).

There simply drawing, but if the idea is pleasant to Onelifecrisis, I will make TGA files.:yep:
I like single sliding stopwatch. :hmm:

People are free to make whatever add-ons to (and even full-blown alternative versions of) the OLC GUI that they wish, as far as I'm concerned. One thing, though: it'll take more than a new TGA to get the old notepad back.

I like Yours mod, but I do not use difficult calculations. :yep:

Hi OLC. Yes, I also want to say thanks for this great mod. Makes the game a complete new experience. I have one remark or rather suggestion about the colors/fonts in the GUI.

I think everything is okay, I have no problems reading the crew output. The only point where I really have to agree with
Abd_von_Mumit is the display of the speed and course. They are really hard to read. I think it would help if you would change that color from green to red or preferably yellow. This should be more prominent. I dont think I am the only one who likes to know course and speed on one glance...

Yes, this is already being done for 1.1.6. :)

I'm making them white. Well, not "white" exactly... but the same colour as the rest of the text e.g. the Port/Stb text.

Great. I'm sure that will satisfy most of us, the ever complainers.

Amazing! You've included a much better version of the Zikuwi, that we know from U-Jagd! :D I like it much more than the previous one, that left almost no space in the scope view. Good news, indeed.

Genferret 01-22-08 09:54 AM

I've read through the entire thread, and I notice some screenshots have a Nomograph, others do not, and I've not been able to get a clear determination in the actual posts on if this mod actually does include a Nomograph or not? (some people wanted one, some didn't, some wanted draggable, some wanted horizontal, some wanted vertical, some wanted one that makes you cookies and milk before bed, some wanted one that does the cookies and milk but in drag, etc).

I know you mentioned putting one in, but that was before all the conversation about what type and before the issue with your father. The only talk I've seen since then is about GWX2 compatible, and light/dark, etc.

Also, if it doesn't have a Nomograph, how hard would it be to install one? Just the plain old non-draggable one like GWX has. I'm very dependant on the Nomograph, in both SHIII and SHIV, so to not have one is a bit of a deal breaker for me personally (no offense, it's just something I'm curious about before I download and install).

S!
