I'm sticking with my day 1 theory that there must be at least one monster in each of the crews.

There has yet to be one uncovered amongst the civilian/scientific so my instincts are to select from that group.

I vote to lynch Jalu and myself to maintain leadership.

*TarJak yawns and stretches and looks at his watch*

"Three days and nights I've been at this without sleep. I need a nap. Good night all."

*Gets up and walks to his rack, slides and and drifts off into a deep peaceful sleep*

*The hatch slowly opens, Oberon looks around, holding his knife in his right hand.*

"I heard that noise..."

*He slowly creeps out, shutting the hatch behind him and sneaks down into the reactor room to investigate.*

*Jimbuna suddenly appears behind Oberon, who nearly jumps out of his skin*

"Where the hell were you? Hiding in that rescue sub shatting your pants?

I can't think of a better way to bring attention to yourself".

*Without waiting to hear what miserable excuse he might offer he walked off and turned his head sideways to say "And put that pen knife away, uou might cut yourself"*

"Back...monster! Away with you!"

*He skulks down to the reactor room*

"The beast lies within us...within us all, but not us, no...no...we are too clever for him, we see past his lies. We see past his mask and see him revealed!"

*He chuckles to himself as he climbs down into the reactor room*

*Fed up with how the boat seems to turned in to a hive of machiavellian plotting, he heads to his bunk and pulls the covers over his head*

"Wonder if it's true - do the monsters go away if you can't see them?"

*Jimbuna is sitting at the bar looking at Oberon at the other end of the room pacing up and down whilst gibbering like an idiot*

*He thinks to himself "So Jalu was human after all. It can only be one of two ways now....either one or both of those in the brig is a monster, hence the lack of killings, or there are still one or more roaming free but daring not kill anyone for fear of drawing attention to themselves and wanting to fool us the monsters are in the brig"*

*A plan starts formulating in Jimbunas head....."Wheres that bloody convict with the test results?"*

*walks in and sits down near Jimbuna*

"You look awfully perturbed, Jim. Something I should know about?"

"I'm looking at what is left of us yet when weighing up the imponderables the choices are beginning to look clearer whilst at the same time I'm disturbed at the feeling of frustration.....it's like not being able to see the wood for the trees"

"The crew first....2 are in the brig, they could both be human, monster or one of each. The killings have stopped yet that could mean absolutely nothing. Those in the brig can be discounted for now, either that or I give the order for their execution and find out for sure.

What would be the point of jeapordising two lives when they are no risk to anyone whilst incarcerated....it's not as if one will turn on the other and give their true identity away.

Sandy Caesar has gone AWOL....that discounts him.

Tarrasque has a name that troubles/disturbs me.

Nisgeis has shown open defiance of me but qualifies it with reasoning...I like men like that but remain wary of them at the same time.

Next, the Science Crew....2 of you 4 are already dead and no sign of a monster yet. Just you and the con remain yet in the main we appear to have shared our concerns as proven by the voting pattern, at least from day 3 onwards.

Next, the Rescue crew...3 are dead and one was proven to be a monster. Nokia has shown unstinting loyalty and support of me and Oberon has been reduced to a gibbering wreck.

If my senses aren't fooling me and I am to believe you and the con are human, there must still be a monster within the ranks of the crew or the rescue sub.

Find it and the rest should be plain sailing. Those in the brig are currently neutralised"

*Takes a draught from his flask and looks at in disgust as he realizes it is empty now.*

Well, I can tell you that you don't need to worry about Tarrasque, if that puts your mind at ease. We're all over him.

*Oberon squints at the rest of the crew*
