Yeah, that's an ongoing issue:roll: . Ever since "domes" have fallen out of fashion, they (vikes, twins, UofM) want to get rid of it. They all want their own stadium and they want the taxpayers to flip the bill:nope: . There was talk that the vikes were going to build a stadium not too far from where I used to live, but I think that fell through.

I grew up in Minn and my friends from back there say they will build 2 stadiums close together in Blaine, a north Minneapolis burb.

They'll regret an open air stadium soon enough. My understanding is that a dome was attempted but voters nixed it because of cost.

The Twins playing outdoors I think is a good idea.

I used to live in Coon Rapids:up: . right before I moved, they build a huge soccer (football:roll: ) sports complex in Blaine.

As far as stadium talk...I just hope we get SOMEthing built, dome or no dome. I'd LOVE to see an outdoor stadium, personally. If the Packers can handle the cold, we sure as hell can too! I remember seeing a Vikes/Pack game at the old Met...those were the days. I don't know what I'll do if the Vikes end up having to move...it wouldn't be pretty. I'm not going to even think about the possibility...

As for the upcoming season though...I'm still in shock that we picked up Allen!!! :up:
Our defence will be quite a force I beleive. Now it's all on Jackson (who I still have faith in). Anyway, despite only having a 2nd round pick on the first day to look forward to, the draft will be pretty interesting. I think people have finally forgotten about our draft "mishaps" in the past!
