I've been taking a bit of a break from GT and some of its more 'special' members, but this is too good to pass on.
Those who have called David Cameron 'Ham faced' have been given some beautiful ammunition courtesy of...and I kid you not...the Daily Mail: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CPYFlLdUAAAGPSI.jpg:large http://www.buzzfeed.com/tomphillips/...uch#.tgG3kpRen http://www.libdemvoice.org/wp-conten...eron-inept.jpg Happy Monday, folks. :03: |
The Lord of the Flies. :hmmm:

Just back from a pleasant holiday in Lanzarote and I readily admit to purchasing The Sun each morning (Euro 2.50) solely for the entertainment contained within regarding the anti-Corbyn rhetoric....well worth the money. I voted for Burnham and Watson. I regret the Burnham vote now seeing as he was the only one amongst the other two candidates and five senior shadow cabinet members who failed to step down or distance themselves from Corbyn, instead choosing to serve under a fourth leader (previously Blair, Brown and Miliband). 'Anywhere and anything for a little apple' springs to mind. The guy (Corbyn) will most likely give the country a lesson never to be surpassed in hypocrisy, a few examples being the fact he has voted against his own party on more than four hundred previous occasions but now expects his elected members to follow his lead on what can best be described as 'questionable policies', the fact he wants the monarchy done away with but will most likely get on bended knee to receive £6.2 million in tax payers money. Add to the above the fact he refused to sing the national anthem at the BoB service....most disrespectful to those who fought so that individuals like him had the option to do as they wish. I could go on and on but nothing would change what has happened and I'll finish by saying "Watch the ensuing turmoil in the future as the Trotts start their antics to de-select the moderates that remain. People will obviously concur that I left the Labour Party but I prefer to state "The Labour Party left me". Visited the bank this morning to cancel my party membership direct debit to learn there was a bonus I was unaware of....because the September payment was taken from my account yesterday (short of 24 hours) I was entitled to a full refund on that as well  I look forward to an ongoing debate on the subject as this nightmare unfolds but hope we can debate without resorting to name calling and or insults. |

Don't go calling Dave and his gang names when your party have made it so easy for whatever policies they decide upon in the future. Only 'certainty' now is deciding which one of the Tory three will succeed him. |

I think that is rather optimistic, to get back to those days of 60 odd MP's going take you more like 20 years or more. Quote:
