Just watched it on iPlayer and the beheaded scene was in there. I take it the episode on TV was censored?

On iPlayer it was a robots head that came off by a sword

Any way a average episode not very good, next weeks dose seem to look a little better I hope.

If Douglas Adams would write a script for an episode, it would be the sanest one  :)

Douglas Adams wrote several Doctor Who episodes. If he could write one today, I think that would be a bigger story than the story itself. :O:

I was expecting something different but I enjoy the episode.
About the edited scene, I thought that was during the fight between Robin Hood and the sheriff, accordingly the BBC news link.

But yes, the robot lost its head.

Last night's episode was a load of dribble and next weeks looks bland or worst.

I quite enjoyed it.

Quote of the week: ‘You said you had a date. I thought I’d better hide in the bedroom in case you brought him home’

I must admit I'm finding this series a bit of a disappointment thus far.

Lets hope the second half of the series picks up.

As for peter capaldi, so far his mean looks grumpiness and sticking it to the man is refreshing from the past one liner slap stick Doctors. :arrgh!:

Jimbuna 09-15-14 08:08 AM

Yep, he's the only redeeming factor.

Rhodes 09-15-14 08:31 AM

Indeed! I like his approach to the Doctor, with the "question:....?" and etc.

About the episode, one of those timey-wimey stuff, but not as good as Blink. Now my pick is: the TARDIS travelled to Galiffrey?! How? :hmmm: It is suppose to be in another universe, etc...
Liked the telepathic interface appearing again in the series. Last I remember it was last used in the 3rd Doctor, but could be wrong. Steve will know for sure.

And what about the Time Lock? That was the script answer to travel to the past of the planet, I think.

What time lock?

Are yes when the War Doctor committed genocide the whole time war was locked. But we now know the Doctor sorry Doctors worked together to change what the War Doctor did. As we all know they succeeded in saving Galiffrey, result time lock gone.

Thanks to the script writers or the zygons or was it that tear in the fabric of time or maybe the.....

STEED 09-15-14 09:32 AM

Just to add from "Blink" the Doctor said time dose not run in a straight line and is a wibbly wobbly all over the place. :har:
