Like i say often a classic is a classic and very few become one these days.

U-BOOT HAHD will be a real dream come true for history lover we all know here there are other great mods out there for Sh3 but the reason i decided last spring was that i was not satisfy with the graphic aspect .

Having extensive experienced in the field i decided to revamp the all thing to my standard of quality.

The reason that took me so long before doing it was that i didn't believe the game engine was capable of handling all those assets and to my surprised after a lot of testing it was running perfectly on my modest system.

Thank for your hard work trying to fix everything could be quite challenging some time:up:

In the past i was also teaching web design with Dreamweaver but my hand are so busy right now that i don't have time but in 2 weeks i will send you a web template of what i have in mind, it should be easy to update and special table with style predefined for Constance of design:salute:

I salute your efforts into this area, it's really conforting to see there are people still tuning SH III! I've watched the youtube videos and the preview of the mod seem to be really nice. By the way, it will be GWX compatible? Or is it a standalone mega-mod?

I'd be happy to see something more then videos myself.
Say a private example to be able to say it's not VaporWare like GWX 4 ended up.
As an neutral observer?
It may help draw the talent you lack in the Team.
It may also assist in other areas as yet unknown.

Hi mate,

We are all addict to Sh3 here:yeah:

The mod is going to be stand alone and will have all the main features you expected in a mega mod because there is way too much work to retrofit all i did in other mega mod if other megamod shipmates want to do it by themself it's up to them.

But we will release some parts as standalone mod after release so far we will have to discuss that between members:up:

I understand your point of view believe me i saw so many mod abandoned way before completion such a waste, but i can assure you that this one isn't going to be abandoned anytime soon.

I did some testing on totally new stuff recently and soon will release screenies of that.

But right now i have my hand full because i am finishing texturing a Fletcher class destroyer that will be used as a demo for our design template for all surface ships, Brett and reaper are waiting for me to finish the video explaining the procedure so they can start.

The ship will look great because i used a new technique for rendering the texture i mean i just model an ocean with the same water color as in mod and took an overcast skydome after that i place the ship in the middle with all different part assembled.

Then i simulate my lightning solution to get the best result for RTT shadow baking.

This way you have all the natural reflectivity of the sea and sky blend in the texture and i bake the shadow in the diffuse pass so our shadow take no resources at all on the engine, on finishing touch i use specular mask controller with the alpha of the texture.

I am almost done and will post screenies probably tomorrow :salute:

Hi mate,

Great work so far i really loved the diesel sound but is it possible to have it a little bit slower like let"s say ahead standard?

The interior sound is i think a bit too quiet depending of the situation.

And i was thinking this afternoon that it would be a great idea to ask German fluent speakers to recorded a couple of chatting and different expressions, i will dress a list of the kind of sentences and dialog i would like to ear in game:up:

The ambient harbor is now better then the first one.

I was working on those banners image how much can you put in??

And for others images in the coming day there will be an orgy of new screenie and wip stuff:woot:

That Fletcher destroyer with measure 31 camo simply look gorgeous i think it look too good to show so i might keep it for my own greedy satisfaction:har:
