What you are doing to each part of SH5 might be just cosmetic, like the new torpedo colours, but although it is a small change the effect is great.

There may be many out there like me who can comprehend the hours of time you have given to improving the graphics and working components, like AI, while not seeing people reactions and comments. One aspect of your work I can commend you on is that when you get an idea to work on a particular aspect of SH5, you do not stop until you have satisfied yourself it is completed. This may lead to a higher number of versions being released, but each release is an improvement on the previous one.

I have just clicked on the topic for the first time. My reaction evolution:

1. I see the OP. Me: Uh, that mod seems like a must have!
2. Keep jumping thread pages to see more screenshots. Me: Yes, a must have indeed
3. Went to the last page to see more, and find people asking for a download link, turns out the mod author removed it. Me: Now I feel properly blueballed

U-190, nobody knows where other users are from, if you didn't stated it before I never would know what country you are from.

I'm spaniard, and as such I don't have any bias towards US nor Russia. Those 2 countries to me are as neutral as when I think about Canada or Australia. I didn't find anything on this thread that hinted towards any kind of discrimination, nor I felt people was purposedly ignoring you. If anything I have seen people engaged and interested in your work.

As for the mod matters: it's your baby, your own work, do whatever it pleases you with it. But if you are against the idea to release it, please, have the good will to edit the first post and put a message in big font that indicate to that this is a work for private use only, and that this work is not going to be publicly released.

@Maestro Lenny:

If you want a more active sea with high waves in bad weather, try the Dyn Environment Gale addon. Similar to this, but better. It is part of the Dyn Environment mod (in the Forum Download section). It works fine with TWoS 2.2.24.

This mod - of this thread - had a problem with the color of the sea - all greenish anywhere, no blue water - and never was corrected.

Regards.

Thanks for the suggestion @fitzcarraldo, I'm downloading it now. Looks promising :up:.
