Calm seas

Just flew back into Phoenix from Little Rock, AR. Boy the airports are empty, it was quiet, peaceful and by the far the best travel experience of my life! This morning I've got an itch in my throat but nothing more water and a couple of doc's horse pills that he keeps in a pez dispenser can't fix. :Kaleun_Cheers:

Quarantine/Lockdown/Curfew ????

I hope you're all doing ok.

Down here in Sydney there's plenty food ( only in supermarkets/takeaways from cafes ). 99% of people doing Social Distancing/Masks. Not really a Ghost town but quiet.

5 big cruise ships that were hanging around off the harbour wanting to enter but were refused permission, were finally reprovisioned ( can't spell ) after entering the harbour, and sent on their way to their home ports, after a mammoth all night operation.

The building where I live, people are checking on each other - food/TP , everyone ok. Nice.

What's it like in LA - Mr Quatro, vienna ???

Onkel Neil - in Texas ???

Jimbuna in Newcastle ???

Eichhornchen in The Fens ??? Plenty nuts ??

Aktung in Napa ???

Reece in WoopWoop ???

I don't want to do a Roll Call...but you get the picture.

I hope we all get through it OK.

Here in England we are in lock down, with only certain outings being allowed & social distancing in effect,of course,we have some idiots who consider that they are above the rules that others have to follow. We have plenty of food, even allowing for the panic buyers.

I have spent a lot more time on SH5,but an stuck now on Distant cover(Battleships & Aircraft Carriers,so if any of you have found these, please tell me where & when you found them)
I am lucky enough to have a decent game to play, loads of e-books & movies on a hard-drive.............not forgetting the internet.

Coming to you from Tupelo, Mississipi! (Texas is my native state)

We are under a “shelter-in-place” order, which most people are openly ignoring. Along with people bringing small children and babies to the store I work at, most people don't even wear masks or gloves. Apparently, quarantine for these people just means have smaller house parties. The shelves at the store I work at are bare in some spots and full in others. Lowes is incredibly busy along with bargain outlets.

Its super boring. Playing all sorts of naval subsims and downloading and testing out new mods is getting really boring. Listening to music and writing is what I do. Luckily, the model shop in town hasn't run out of stock yet so I bought two models. A B-25 Mitchell and the Mighty Mo (USS Missouri).
When this is all over, I'm going to go to my favorite restaurant, have a sit down dinner, and eat their famous burgers and drink their milkshakes.
The dog is going mad too. He's barking at the wind.

I cannot wait for this to end.

Life is good out here in rural Virginia. Week 5 of working from home, which makes me very, very happy, since the alternative is to get up at 4am to drive in to the office (if I leave my house at 5, it takes an hour, but if I leave at 6, it's two hours...Welcome to DC traffic). So I like my 20 foot commute. I get up, pull on a pair of sweats, go downstairs, fire up the VPN, and go make coffee.

Wife and I are doing well. Going out, mostly on the weekends, for provisions, though we have quite a bit.

So what I grew up with as social awkwardness is now known as social distancing. Who knew? :haha:

All ok here in south Wales, on lockdown. Was supposed to go to sea at the beginning of the month but that won't be happening until this all blows over.

Romania looks good at the moment. Military curfew and quarantine especially for the old. Got to have papers to walk around the place!

You can find everything now that shops have restocked!:Kaleun_Cheers:

Still winter in our neck of the woods. But indoors and working from home.

Never enough time to play games these days.

Cheers and be safe everyone.

Greg from Ft Myers, Florida. Nothing is being enforced; and in typical fashion, many feel their beliefs are enough to protect them. I try to explain I wear a cloth wrapped around my head for THEIR sake, not mine. Not so effective if everyone does not abide. I can see where it will be real easy for them to push the spread down without eliminating it, only to see it pop back up later. I think a little more will be required than the response I'm seeing so far.

Living in southern Ontario, Canada not far from Toronto. So far things are good. I don't believe there have been any confirmed cases where I live but there is confirmed cases in adjacent communities. Stores are well stocked but I wished people would social distance a little more when out and about. Can still go for walks but that might not be possible if things get worse. As is common everywhere stocks of toilet paper and cleaning supplies are usually sold out.

All and all though I can't complain.

Near Derby, UK.

No lockdown for me, still working as normal everyday. Work as Signalman on the railways.

Working through SH3 at the moment then have SH4, 5, Uboat and Wolfpack to try.

Keep safe.

Hi folks,

I live in Flensburg, germany. I quit my job just a few weeks ago. So I have right now a lot of spare time since there are not many jobs right now due to lock down. So I grabbed my "old" PC and started to upgrade it a little bit for some gaming. Just went back to SH 3 and started Witcher 3.
I live by myself with my two cats and right now weather starts to get better and I also have a nice garden to spend some times outside.

Live long and prosper guys :-)

Also I enjoy a lot of musicians streaming via internet, so also a disease has its good side for the people that don´t suffer from it.:Kaleun_Salute:

I live in Portland, Oregon. It's not too bad here, everyone's staying inside, and my job has been closed for 3 weeks, but the weather's finally turning nice for a change, and the stores are starting to recover from the panic shopping.

Report from South West London, UK

The area is quieter than usual, people avoiding each other.
Only a few food shops are open, long queues to get into it.
Fewer people around, no planes, no noise, no cars.
Wife works in health services, bit stressful time.

Friends and family locked in different cities in Europe.

Take care and stay healthy.
All the best for all of you.

Michal

Hi all,
I'm in Italy so the sh*t hit the fan a few weeks ago. Almost everything besides supply chains is locked dawn, but our government in pure Italian style is not very clear on what you can or cannot do. So there are cities where streets are mostly deserted and some others where peoples think the descent from the highlander family. Me and my family chose to stay at home. Lost my job though.
Stay safe all of ya and God bless you all.:Kaleun_Salute:
