Ron Paul has been consistant for over 30 years, the Dems have got nothing on him. and he polls a damn sight better than Mitt Romney.

His stance on Abortion is not to ban it - but lets the sates decide reather than the frederal government.
Im pretty sure he is not a 'global warming hoaxer' like Al gore but ill look it up to be sure.
Yes he wants to legalise drugs which is understandably controversial -but what about his other polices?, like restoring the constitution, repealing the Patriot act and the NDA act?
Auditing the Fed, scrapping income tax & IRS, cutting overseas spending and abandoing the wars and nation buidling that are breaking Americas back right now?
How about scrapping obamacare?

Are Pauls ideas on small government and sound money (as the founding fathers intended) really all that nuts? or has America (like the UK and Europe) simply lost her way with massive overspending and over expanding government?

The 'projected' delegate counts from the media are garbage. whats is it again? 80 somthing for Ron paul and 800+ from Romney? I think thats about to change. Im sure Romney still leads but not by such a huge margin.

That means overturning Rove v Wade, a Supreme Court Decision BTW. That would be taking away what has become an established Constitutional freedom and that's just not gonna happen. It will however mobilize women against him in such numbers that he'd loose bigger than Jimmy Carter did in 1980.

8 states out of 50 is an extremely poor showing JU no matter how you slice it. Paul is not going to get the GoP nomination. now he may run as an independant (although currently he claims he won't) but the most he could accomplish is give the Obama the election by dividing the opposition.

In regards to the Doc, i know its a long shot for the guy - but one can hope, It would be nice to see the USA lead by someone who cares a about the core values the nation was founded on, has a fair bit of intellegence and has a spine to boot.
