IXD2s brought me some long ones. I believe my personal record was 190 days (spent in large part in the Indian Ocean).

If you use a IXD2 to circumnavigate the globe (while you pass through some nice target areas, it's not a very efficient patrol) I did it in around 180 or so days. Boy was everyone glad to get off that boat the moment we docked and shower, and get some real food and beer. :up:

Dud torpedoes were filled blood sausage and offal by the crew ... that allowed them to sail home sooner! True! I would not make that up! :har:
