Rather shamefully fell asleep during the Mazda 4hr endurance race......twice.:har: Still won by 15 Laps.

Took my tuned up Volvo C30 for a drive on the Nordschleife. Quite easy to get wheelspin as one picture shows. :DL

Edit: It's tuned up to 383 BHP.

I've used to tune mostly Japanese cars so this time I thought I should try something different. :)

Damn and blast! I should not have clicked on this thread. :cry: I'd kill for a PS3 and GT5. It's been my favorite racing game since GT2.

Can I make a request? Could someone post some pics of any and all the Vipers in the game? I would love to see what they look like in all of GT5's glory. :sunny:

Had to do that for one of the license tests in a previous game, of course without traction control... quite temperamental.

High powered RWD cars require smooth throttle application. Corner-exit oversteer is quite common. :)

Not good since you need all the speed you can get from the corner exit.
Braking into the corner and getting a good line through the corner is most important.. A bad line, and the exit is ruined.

^ A good tune can sort that out. Though, I must admit that I should at least take the 'stock' versions out before I pimp them. Perhaps I should buy double of everything.:hmmm:

This game is so beautiful too bad it's not for PC. . .

Mine has chronic understeer. You have to virtually come to a stop, then feather the throttle to inch around the corner. :06:

I'd love a bit of power drift in the Viper, but mine just won't do it.

well what do you expect with that big lump of metal under the hood?

If you want some oversteer, I'd recommend stiffening the rear sway bar, softing the one in front and a bigger springrate in the front. Don't take it to extremes tho. If the rear sway bar is too stiff you're gonna have trouble controlling the car under braking if you ever so slightly have to steer while doing it, also it'll be snappy on corner exits.

Thanks, danlisa, those pictures look awesome! I can't get over how much the cars in GT5 pop compared to GT4. And I thought GT4 was good. The Camaro shot looks amazing with that green wire-frame floor and the P38 (?) in the background, too.
