IAEA: Iran still enriching uranium

(CNN) -- In defiance of U.N. Security Council resolutions, Iran continues its uranium enrichment activities, according to a report by the International Atomic Energy Agency released Monday.

At its nuclear facility in Natanz, Iran estimated that between November 23 and August 6, it produced 995 kilograms (2,194 pounds) of low enriched uranium, which can be used as fuel for nuclear reactors or, if enriched further, for nuclear weapons, as many governments fear.

Iran 'hampers work of IAEA investigators'

he UN nuclear watchdog says Iran has hindered its investigations by repeatedly objecting to the agency's choice of inspectors.

In a confidential report seen by the BBC, the International Atomic Energy Agency says it cannot confirm that Iran's nuclear programme is peaceful.

The IAEA says Iran has continued to produce low-enriched uranium, despite fresh UN Security Council sanctions.

The US and its allies accuse Iran of trying to develop nuclear weapons.

There is a theory/legend that the Templar Knights who managed to escape the purge of their order in 1307 fled through the mountains into what would become Switzerland.

I do find it interesting that the Swiss eventually became pretty well known for the two things the Templars were extremely good at.

(The other thing would be banking, lol.)
