One request - please don't put the "oberkommando der kriegsmarine" inscription on every damn screen! ;) This is the thing that I don't like in previous u-boat mod.

--------------

And, JCWolf, I know why I didn't found you mod earlier - its because I really hate your site (www.jcwolfworkshopbdu.com), using it is a nightmare for me, all this flash, big pictures, sound etc, it is slow and uncomfortable as hell.

LOL...Thank God it is the only thing!:yeah:

explanation of why I use that over the Books used on the Graphics!

Not all have it, but when it is the case of Personal German navy files
that were used by a German Unit or Man, This often had the German
Kriegsmarine Stamp on it or If issued by the High Navy HQ or
Ranks into Other units on their service would have also the Stamp
or mark of the Kriegsmarine , Main menu, The open Book is what you can
see as a "oberkommando der kriegsmarine" mission or orders book or
manual, that actually serves as the Games menu, to give a more
Real feeling I add it this way so that it really looks that in fact you
as a Kalleun are in your desk Reading a Important Book from The
"oberkommando der kriegsmarine" giving you full access to your
campaign or patrol...:03:

Major documents like the Crew files or Books that would contain
important unit info or personal massages were always marked with
the unit Stamp or head title...The same way as above explained this
applies to any important German navy Document in the game,
The only documents I really don't add that are in most cases paper
notes used by the crew or other personal that were in fact simple
Note Books without any Unit mark at all and were used to write what
ever they needed to write that was not of relevant importance inside
their military Duties on day by day service....

So taking that of would be taking the feeling of real thing in my work
and I want it to be as close as possible to reality in those days.:salute:

Thank you for explanation. I like stamps, but its just too big - maybe they also used an abbreviation? It would be a nice alternative ;)

If time is present, I will include Other versions to some
Screens , and make them with smaller documents titles!:salute:

No Problem...

@ JCWolf: Your all graphics are jaw dropping & in my eyes adds only missing factor to already brillant GWX & all other mods ..

@ subsim: i salute you.... experiencing war history makes you learn a lot even if you "know all of it" .. the word here is "experience".. sh3 is a "must have" experience not to be missed in once lifetime .. experiencing soaring on water/in deep beneath & at same time experiencing first hand chilling & bitter "Battle of Atlantic" -most vital history in naval warfare & also quite high up in war history plus it makes you crave for more .. thus what follows is more books, documentary/movies & exploring thoughts & aspects that otherwise would never crossed your mind ..all this at convenience & in comfort of home.. cant think of better way, .. i wished if we were introduced to WW2 with likes of das boot & sh3.

& surely finding this community was worth a heck lot more than game itself.. i mean, how lucky can you be.. & i bet i would envy anyone when i am say i have browsed almost all mods here .. have got a perfect setup & still yet to play my first campaign .. how mny had GWX3 & this community with mods threads running more than 11000 when they made there sh3 bon voyage???
this community alone overshadows & exceeds clearly all that went in making Das Boot? even bucks.. 40 million plus $$ .. do you agree?

Who in its perfect would mind to read words like the ones you've wrote spaceman8888?!

You make fell great, and tankful for being the target of such words
mi friend, I feel the same way about a bunch of other guys here that
in the last 5 years made this game what it is today...

...but guys like you make us keep going and with High moral cause
it is the Spirit of this community, Sharing and creating, it is obvious
that many other communities should learn with this place and maybe be
almost as good, but we know that there is no better one then this one!

I deeply thank your words and salute you mi friend!:salute:

Dev Report Delay

Guys I know I was supposed to post a Dev report for you today,
but time is short, and today, between the Forum making and the
U-Boat III Graphics and Text Files editing had no time to finish the
Dev on hands!

Tomorrow lets see if I can solve some Menu-ini stuff and
finish the Dev on hands... and if so I will post the Report here
if not it is for after tomorrow for sure...:salute:
