Well my HP-259 set came yesterday. You know, the $7.99 pair that I ordered a few days ago. I tried them out last night, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed.:yeah: The bass is really good. No distortion whatsoever, comfort is above average. No headache's yet. I would have to recommend these to anyone looking to save some dough, and to be able to still have nice set that does what it's suppose to do fairly well.

My HP-259 ($7.99) set has arrived. Amazingly, a good set. Sounds as good as my expensive logitech and sony's. Very comfortable. I recommend them!

Headphones make a difference.
I once read on another W.W.II game forum about a guy that had purchased a high dollar set of phones and tried them out. In the game he was playing as a sharpshoter and had snuck up to the front line. He found a good hideing spot behind a hill and was laying in wait for a target. Then out of a stroke of genious he figured that he could turn the volume up to it's highest setting in order to hear enemies comeing closer.:know: But...he did not notice the group German 88's on the other side of the hill, and when they opened up he couldn't hear for a week he said. :har: |
