I'm just getting them used to the next four years. If Obama wins they're going to have to get used to defending their parties actions.

So who handled this orginally humourous thread more economically - you or me?

Economically?
Who could compete with a German there! (Except, perhaps in words per post ;) )
I generally only post because I enjoy doing so and this thread is no exception.
Being economical doesn't come into it.

Have you listend to the wireless episodes of yes minister?

DeepIron 11-04-08 12:10 PM

Anyway, there will be plenty of "political fodder" to chew on regardless of who comes out on top... enough I'm sure for another 4 years of humor at least...

In spite of their many threats to do exactly that.

That's not the same thing at all.

PS. Just to end my curiosity, wasnt the WTC bombing in '93? Or was there two?
You're right it was a typo.

Late to the party, as usual, but this is hardly a terrorist attack. It was a nut who was pissed at his lawyer for not protecting his interests from his own son. It was a murder attempt, not a random killing terrorist attack.

Now back to bashing Dubbya:yep:

DT, good luck interjecting some reality here. That's coming soon enough when the Dems actually have to accomplish something instead of just criticize the efforts of others.

Yes and no. Of course, a big attack with high casualty rate is different, but be it soldier or civilian, he's still a human. And seeing how things are in both Afghanistan & Iraq, any death of an coalition soldier or any civilian is IMHO a wasted life for lost cause.

A soldier and a civilian are indeed both humans but the former has the training and the means to defend himself and is alert for danger, the latter (by and large) does and is not.

<I'm going to burn for this one>

Technically, isn't it a dictatorship? There are no elections, one leader, one set of rules, and only one qualified to pass judgment.
