The movie is actually better than the book, but that's usually the case with Alistair MacLean stuff.

Is it worth buying?

I just bought it and don't regret it at all. Definitely re-watchable.

By my count you have 21 hours of movies there. Are we going to do anything else? Are we going to talk to each other?:p

Are talking and watching movies mutually exclusive? :hmm:

nikimcbee 10-09-08 11:47 AM

No talking during the film!:x
Didn't you get the memo, we cancelled everything and we're watching movies?

All I watched was The Cruel Sea. It was the last night and everyone had either left already or gone back to their hotels. I had read the book but never watched the film, so when McBee put it on Neal's widescreen I just couldn't resist. Neal and James (USLC) had gone to sleep because James had a flight at 0600, but Jason, Dan and I stayed up and watched it.

It was worth it.
