SH3 is alive! 2006-2016! Ten years!

New players are discovering this legend.

Hit esc, then dock at Belchen, like it was a port, not a ship.
Thanks for quick reply!

Considering the fact that one of my favourite flight simulators is a 1988 vintage Microprose F19 Stealth Fighter, ten years doesn't seem so much...
Actually I preferred to buy SH3 to SH5, because of hardware constraints. It works smoothly on my machine and this makes playing SH3 very enjoyable.

I am new to GWX3.0. So the status is like that: It's 1939 and I am stationary at 0kts very close to Belchen resupply ship - less than a cable away. How do I resupply - refuel, load torpedoes and ammo? Is there a key combination that triggers the resupplying process? Or should I take a certain position - e.g. port side, less than 20yds away?

It doesn't look like anyone's actually answered your question such was the excitement of this topic being revived. I think the best thing to do is to press escape, and then "end patrol" and I think it should allow you to click on the words "DOCK AT:" (presented either before or after clicking end patrol)

I've not done this myself but I'm sure one of the other kaleun's here will confirm the correctness of this!

Yup, you're right. Better still if you have H.sie's hardcode fix, then you won't lose your assigned grid, tonnage and rewards. And will spend a less time docked too.

I believe this only applies to U-Tankers, and only if you don't choose the option to dock when you exit patrol.

It works for supply ships as well if you rename them in the campaign files, e.g. Brake, you rename U-Brake, then it works.

And yes, in GWX all you have to do is click "end patrol" and then "Dock at". I don't remember if it have to be in fair weather for this to work, though.

Reed

Awesome! I had no idea it was that simple.

Yuo, it is that simple. Just remember, of course, to backup your files, in case something goes wrong.
