The Doors
Pink Floyd The Rolling Stones Muddy Waters Neil Young Led Zeppelin Bruce Springsteen I think my favorite album of all time is Dark Side of the Moon. As a whole album goes, it just doesn't get much better then that! My favorite band of all time would have to be The Doors. Just something about Morrison's intriguing lyrics mixed with John's killer drums, Ray's hypnotic keyboard, and Robby's bottle neck playin guitar! I have been playing their cds since I was extremely small. My dad was playing them even longer. The Rolling Stones are my close 2nd favorite. I am sure I don't have to say much about them. They are true legends. The rest I really like, but those three up there are my favorites. Also like a bunch of other misc bands. If I am playing SHIII or flying IL2 I got my Glen Miller and Benny Goodman playing. |

Show me your music!
I just wanted to see what I might be missing.
Let me see some off the wall stuff I probably haven't heard. If nothing else, some stuff I've heard but you like. I'll start: Gogol Bordello http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_81l4DXlwM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NMPPtMoSIc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJlGutqFqfg Gimme something good people! Aside from you Norwegian death metal people, anyway. :p |
They don't make 'em like they used to.
EDIT: The classic TT! EDIT #2: Trivia - taken from Rowan & Martin's Laugh-in. The girl in pink at the end is Goldie Hawn. |

Probably my favourite song. Ever :)
Manic Street Preachers - Yes He's a boy, you want a girl so tear off his cock Tie his hair in bunches, **** him, call him Rita if you want, if you want. Power produces desire, the weak have none, there's no lust in this coma even for a fifty. Solitude, solitude, the 11th commandment Don't hurt, just obey, lie down, do as they say, may as well be heaven this hell, smells the same. These sunless afternoons I can't find myself |

Here are some of my favorites:
Fairport Convention with Sandy Denny doing "Sir Patrick Spens" and my favorite, "Crazy Man Michael". God rest her sweet soul. Saw this tour in Santa Fe. An incredible musician and poet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuURu4GUkdo Roy Rogers and Norton Buffalo doing,"Ain't No Bread In The Breadbox": Roy used to play my high school dances when we were kids. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2u9api6tQEA John Trudell: Fables And Other Realities http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHB4tdZS0b8 Andres Segovia playing "Asturias" in the Alhambra. I saw him live in 1976. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9efHwnFAkuA |
