Was it just me or was Alonso lucky up there on the podium, that Hamilton didn't take the title? Sure looked like that, but maybe I'm just interpreting too much into this whole affair at McClaren between Alonso and Hamilton.

I would've loved to see Hamilton take the title ON THE TRACK, but Kimi deserved it just as much, after finishing second in the WC twice before.

If I were Hamilton I'd probably tell the people at McClaren to let it be, and not go on about this whole fuel temperature stuff, but I guess there's too much money involved for this move to go well with the team.

I can only agree with this assesment (spelling?).

This reminds me of a very funny interview on Speed Channel here in the States. During the Acura prerace show, all the drivers were asked what their best moment during this season was. When they got to Ralph I had to laugh. He couldn't come up with anything. He just stood there and basically all he said was, "Uhh...". :lol:

i think its pathetic that mclaren and FIA even brought it up.. "affirmative action":roll: soon they are going to be saying "racism!!!" over and over because hamilton didnt win...:roll: but i still think Kimi derserved it.. he won 6 races and alonso and hamilton won 4 each..

:rock::rock::rock: good for him!!:()1:

Mikey_Wolf 10-24-07 10:54 AM

Hamilton has said now he doesn't want the decision overturned by the FIA. So at least somebody is showing a bit of class throughout this whole escapade.

thats actually surprising... :huh:

theres always next year alonso!!!! hes going back to renault where he should have stayed.

It's a pity Mclaren didn't follow his example and show a bit of common sense themselves.

dont forget that during the chinese gp weekend last year alonso released a statement claiming that renault were trying to sabotage his chances.
