Ah, some of you must have the updated version. and for the question of when they were taken, the old free download was REALLY old, as in before 2000. how do I know? on the year 2000, I had a new pool that wasn't a circle built in my backyard. my old pool is still there in the old version, even though the thing says "xxxxxxxx" copyright 2006.

i dont think these images are that old because the Germans wouldnt have the type 212a in 2000 would they?

ASWnut101 10-06-06 02:36 PM

no, but I said that the OLD version may be....I think....

I dunno if those are russian subs or not, the conn towers are a bit far forward to be so.

Perhaps a leftover from early days of reverse engineering?

Dreadnought, Churchill, Swiftsure and the 4 Resolution class polaris boats.

Lesrae is it true that Swiftsure was withdrawn early as the crew got muddled in metres/feet and she dramatically exceeded her test depth?

I hadn't heard that one, I heard she went early because she was first of class and they learnt a lot of lessons from her flaws, but that lead to her short life. Apparently it's not an uncommon fate for first of class - but I've never checked out the stats on it.
