I swap out subs all the time

I swap em a lot and I only just started using commander I my observations indicate commander rolls back the flotilla cfg file unless you save in game on the first time
MM

[edit] this turned out not to be correct flotilla cfg changes hold just fine during rollback mustve been human error the first time MM

By the way, just found out about the BMW symbol. It is a propeller with the blue sky behind it. Apparently they made fighter planes during the war. go figure.

Nope. BMW never built fighter planes but they built ENGINES for aircraft during the war. Mainly radial engines like the ones used for the Ju52/3m.

BMW even today understands itself as an engine manufacturer who also happens to produce cars around the engines :)
However before they started with cars they only built engines. :know:

BMW is short for "Bayerische Motorenwerke" which translates quite literally to "Bavarian Engine Factories"

btw the problem to have a XXI in 1939 was solved with Sub Ready 1.1
there's not only basic.cfg and flotilla.cfg to configure: they must be configured with accurancy or you'll find a XXI maybe in '39 but with an horrible ammo too.
In Sub Ready, instead, you can find any u-boot and not only XXI, and finally, you can get inspire for further development.

You can found the "Sub Ready" post in the appropriate section on this forum

It sounds much like a spot for me :smug: i'm sorry.
