The legendary cult TV series from Britain, The Prisoner, starring Patrick McGoohan as a secret agent who quits and then is kidnapped and taken to the mysterious 'village' where they've given him a number and taken 'way his name (there is absolutely no connection between McGoohan's former series Danger Man {called Secret Agent in the US of A}). Steed's cute little dialogue is a spoof of the opening of each of the 17 episodes.
The bouncing ball was a big thing that chased down and recaptured escapees. You won't do yourself any harm by looking up and renting the series. It's a classic. "I am not a number, I am a free man!" |
This is like saying "Where's Waldo"!

The Dutch are disappearing... First it was Abraham... he hasn't answered e-mail in 6 weeks... and then Dargo, the WPL Admin... and now Drebbel. What's going on over there? Did a dike break and we didn't hear about it?:shifty:

Haven't seen Sixpack in a long time either. He was Dutch. And where is my favorite Belgian from Brussels, Crow? Perhaps all the Benelux countries have disappeared under the sea? :-?
Oh Well...Fish is still about. We're not completely devoid of Dutchmen. |
Now serious, this is getting suspicious...:shifty:

I don't know about the others, but Eichenlaub and me are still around. :hmm:
