lol :rotfl: , I really hope they don't.

Anway, what is the explanation for the waving USA flag? AFAIK, there isn't wind in the space. (Not that I don't believe, but it is an interesting question).

The astronauts just took their hands off it leaving it still shaking kind of like a radio antenna on a car when you mess with it.

Look here, at item 5, along with pics.

I can't believe it's 2006 and people are still discussing this.

Because of Armstrong and the rest of the crew, we know Aliens in space exist. In a documentary i saw on sky a few years back they interviewed Armstrong and other astronauts about aliens, they all admitted on televion that when they are above the earth they witness alot of UFO flying around, there were many of them. And there always are, every space flight you can garrantee they're see UFO's flying around. They were told to keep it zipped, until now they are speaking about it because UFO's are no longer a big deal anymore. But imagine if they came forward and said it back then.

Actually I think 2006 is part of the problem. It's been 34 years since a human being walked on the moon. I think people are starting to have a hard time believing we ever went.

You could make people believe the Earth was flat back in the day, remember? You can make people believe into anything, Irvin Yalom selling "When Nietzsche Wept" as phisosophy when it belongs to the trash bin, I mean, the entertainment pile. You can make people believe the landing was real even if it was false and vice-versa, and if the landings were fake, there would be a conspiracy to prove they were real, there will always be a conspiracy attempting to prove some event actually happened the other way around.

I think it takes less creativity to send 3 blokes to the closest rock to the Earth than proving Walker Bush was behind 9/11.

Re: First U.S. Moon landing real or fake?

I was watching a tape of the moon landing during an Ion Storm the other night and I saw something strange.

I think that’s Buzz Aldrin with a goatee, and I have a feeling that Neal Armstrong met with an unfortunate accident.

Whether we went to the moon or not it certainly helped develop a lot of new technology and funneled massive amounts of tax dollars back into the pockets of American workers and companies; especially skilled workers. We could probably use another project like that before everything but service jobs disappear. I also see it as something that helped unite many Americans in a common belief/goal and one that was not based on excluding certain groups from something or inflicting one group's standards and rules on everybody else.

I do have a nice piece of moon landing memorablia. My grandfather was a technical writer after retiring from the Air Force and worked on the manuals for the Saturn V rockets. He has a 6 inch thick volume sitting on the coffee table.
