Mission suggestion
A nice mission would be the intercept of Admiral Yamamota via the Lightnings and a subsequent recovery of crews...
Perhaps the Sub could be asked to remain surfaced at a specific point and get a few rounds off on the tranports carrying the admiral before the interceptors ( who flew a long way) finish the aircraft and bring him down... MAybe the sub could wipe out some escorts or other possible scenario's to make it interesting and blend hstory with fact... Adios:dead: |
Go to http://www.34thflotilla.com/MultiMissions/ and download the AirRaid.mis file. It is multi-player, but you can put it in your SingleMissions folder and play it single-player if you want.
The mission starts slowly... just a few planes, but it gets more and more instense as the mission proceeds. There are a couple of Elco patrol boats too, but you can take them out with the Flak if you have a decent one. I'd suggest taking a U-Boat with plenty of Flak. Hope that helps... |
NOt sure about airbases spawning them or not, but in the stock game a plane with basic (no ordenance) will not perform an attack run on the player, instead it will fly around in circles decending until it plunges in to the sea.

When aircraft r Spawned from an air base they come fully loaded. I was playing a SP mission and out of the blue, im not lying aboutthis about 50 Stukas and about 10 Fockers come out of the clouds and pound the convoy infront of me, i was like holy SH!T, where the hell did they come from, cause i didnt put them in the mission.
But the Stukas seemed to be carrying 3- 500lbs bombs and the fockers were carried their normal load, it was fun to watch the cargo ships get hammered but i didnt really need to attack, the planes did that for me. |
must have been a pretty special convoy lol !

how can i make a mission thats spawns random over the entire map planes to attack you? i cant make one:/

I have found that if you make your attacking aircraft Veteran or better and have them flying at @ 1000m, plus make sure they are armed with bombs, they will always attack the enemy. As long as they fly some where near the ship they can't resist! :yep: You can always lower the ships experience to novice, this will make their flak not as effective.
I have learnt this though many hours of experimenting as well as asking questions in this helpful forum! Hope this helps |
