I`ve encountered several icebergs in north-mid-Atlantic, like 1000 nm from Greenland and there were few near Spitsbergen - I`ve found few patrol vessels around the place, was ridiculous...but interesting, in certain way.
Besides, there`s interesting dependency you know. If I`m looking for merchants, I find icebergs. When I`m looking for icebergs I don`t find any but keep spotting the merchants :hmm: |
XXi its the Brits crazy idea to fool Icebergs as merchants becuase iceebergs can take the torps and not sink which they deadly if you get too close.
|
Damn it !
It looks you`re right  These Brits, the tricky ones ! |
Churchill wanted an iceberg carrier.

There is a plaque on the shores of Patricia Lake (Jasper, Alberta) where the only prototype structure was built (and then abandoned in late 1943 - it was argued there was little use for such massive floating airfields by that time, and the money would be better spent on other projects). |
