Seriously, im now 1.3 hours into messing with this, same crap.
Tried to install the HSI for the 4gb patch, hoping that was the cause of the CTD, although with no mods doubtful. and while the hsi was a success. CTD CTD CTD CTD!!!

?? is there more? You really shouldn't willy-nilly mods and utilities in and out of the game. Install SH3 in a non- "Program Files" folder. Empty any Save folders you might have. Any and all Saves are suspect. There are several options to get a 4gig patch to set the bits on the SH3.exe file, but SH3.exe cannot be "Read-only" in Windows. Make certain SH3 runs properly on its own again first. Then attempt to do a simple mod and see how it goes. Once the first mod works, add a 2nd. etc., but test between steps if possible. If we missed another statement, sorry. :salute: |
