Good news! |
Well, i dont think i will be updating this thread anymore past this point. The young lady was released from the hospital around 9:30 PM Texas time on 9/2
she will have a home visiting nurse come by daily for her antibiotics therapy which must be administered through her PICC line - which, oddly enough she claims that she can simultaneously taste and smell whatever is administered through it :hmm2: Nurse said that is not uncommon an experience. fascinating next week we have a follow up CT scan to show how much the swelling has changed, but for the most part, she has been through quite a storm and found her way back to home port. thanks again for all the kind words, prayers, finger crossings and support! :salute: |
Home is always good therapy, hopefully she is fast on the mend!:yep:

I'm sure she was thrilled beyond words to get back home. All the best in her recovery. Hopefully she and the rest of your family can get back to your normal routines. |
So glad to hear the positive outcome. :salute:

Good to know John :sunny:but the burning question is....did you give her the crayons and colouring book back? :03:
|
Glad to hear the good news. Take good care of her.
