Well, we'd know for sure which bathroom to use. Very important in an emergency. I'm pretty sure one of the split off places wouldn't limit free speech to only the supposedly oppressed either. In military boots the choice wouldn't be between flats or pumps in one of those places. Plus if Texas secedes I could live right beside the new gold depository so I can visit mine. :D Oh, and most importantly in one of the split off places it wouldn't be a daily battle to keep your 2nd amendment rights. If the IRS has a stockpile of weapons, why shouldn't I? LMAO

Why am I expecting them to suddenly break into a song-and-dance routine?

Texas Secession 'Closer' Than Anyone Thinks
https://www.newsweek.com/texas-seces...thinks-1884088

Quote:

Speaking on his podcast Miller said that Texan independence, dubbed TEXIT by some supporters, is "closer than pretty much anyone else thinks" and argued a single external or internal shock could push this over "the finish line."

Miller suggested the reelection of Biden, concerns about the validity of the 2024 election result, immigration issues, or a financial crisis could also trigger a Texas independence movement.

He said: "If you were to see major anomalies in the 2024 election again accelerator down to the floor. The fact of the matter is legitimate concerns about the integrity of our electoral system have gone unanswered ... . If you see major anomalies in the 2024 election the calls for TEXIT will become overwhelming and I believe the same thing happens if Joe Biden gets reelected as president of the United States."
Let my people go-go! :Kaleun_Wink:

Nominated: Necro post of the year!:O::haha: Buddahaid and I would have to manage :subsim: from California!:o We simply couldn't abide an 'out-of-country headquartered forum!:timeout: Then again, Texas, having seceeded from Mexico in 1836, and the Union in 1861...:hmmm: perhaps "the third time could actually be the charm"!:arrgh!:
