Wile E. Coyote

Because he is a lovable loser who, though he never won, never quit trying.

Dr. House, because he was so much his own person and unapologetically so...

Morticia Addams, because she was so blithely and blissfully herself and unable to really comprehend why others were so, well, unusual...
(...and, she was pleasing to the eyes...)...

The Gilmore Girls, Lorelai and Rory, because I would like to be married to a woman so interesting, fun and bright and have a daughter so bright and quirky...

There are others, but I have only listed the few that came quickly to mind...

Oh, wow, Red Foxx. I have a great memory of Red. He used to have a number of businesses here in Los Angeles and, specially, here in Hollywood. He even had his own office building, done up in a red façade. I once worked at a rock club on Sunset Blvd., in the mid-70s. Red had set up a hair and beauty salon in a store front adjoining the club. It was a habit of the club's employees and some of the regulars to show up at the club during the daytime hours to just hang out and play records before the official nighttime opening of the club. One summer day, we were in the club, with the door closed and locked, blasting away with our records. There was a loud knock at the door and the owner went to see who it was. He opened the door and there was Red Foxx, big as life and every inch Fed Sanford. He said he didn't mind us playing music as long as we kept it down a bit, since some of his salon customers were complaining about the volume. The owner said he would take care of it right away and Red walked away back to his salon...

We all talked about it afterwards and concluded that if we hadn't turned down the volume, Red probably had the 'big one' and he'd be 'coming home to Elizabeth'...

^ The character was "Vila" and I was going to use him myself until I remembered Glynis Barber (Phwwwooooaaarrr!)

Rhodes 05-29-15 06:12 PM

Yes, all the ladies of the show, main cast and guest are quite eye candy!
Vila and Avon do steal the show, Terry Nation indeed write great lines for both actors!

it's a toss up between 3 comedic talents

1. Alan Alda as Hawkeye Pierce
In the series M*A*S*H. The series featured fantastic writers and actors.

2. Woody Harrelson as Woody Boyd in the series Cheers https://s.yimg.com/ny/api/res/1.2/Db...rrelson-09.jpg

and also Nicholas Colosanto as Coach Ernie Pantusso
from the series Cheers as well.

Sadly,Nicholas Colasanto passed away in 1985. All 3 characters represent humor at it's best.

UK TV's first total idiot.

The actor Richard Lewis Hearne was considered for the role of Doctor Who following on from Jon Pertwee, but was dropped when he insisted on playing the part as Mr Pastry. You couldn't make this up.
