If you're off to the side a bit, just park and disconnect the trailer. Then re-hook it and your trailer will be magically right on the money. Call it yard jockey assistance.:D
You have to be fairly close to the mark though.

Sneaky. :hmmm:

Fortunately I seem to have got my reversing mojo back, after a bit more practice. My main problem currently is wandering concentration - usually resulting in sudden braking as I realise I'm in the wrong lane at a turnoff.

As for the problems with getting used to driving on both sides of the road, I've had a few incidents - like the time I turned the wrong way while joining a motorway - up the exit slip road.

I've known people in the military that where stationed in the UK and Japan each one of them had at least one story about accidentally going the wrong way even in right hand drive vechiles. Luckily I always got stationed in left hand drive countries.

Most adventurous place I have ever driven? Saudi Arabia I think they are taught to floor it and steer when you just about to hit the car to your left or right. They have odd EMTs there as well more tha n once they simply left people that where hurt in accidents and it was US military vechiles that where nice enough to help the person and drive them to the nearest civilian ER.

Just out of curiosity, is there a reason why so many truck drivers are on these forums? What's interesting and fun about your job?
