A Japanese skier actually made a ski run down Mt. Everest and it was filmed for a documentary. The only full version of the film I could find is a Polish dubbed posting on YouTube:

I wonder if he was on the "bunny slope"?...

Eddie ain't dead.

Nor is his career. He's currently filming another installment of Beverly Hills Cop in Michigan.:)
