In the latest news, as a result of the disastrous flooding in England the government has requested everyone to calm down as they simply don't have the financial resources to help all of the flood victims at the moment.

In other news, the government is fully supporting the 40 billion pound HS2

Which is quite handy since, due to a tunnel infrastructure problem, transport has been a bit patchy up north today around the Kilsby tunnel area.

Hmm now that's an idea. Why don't you just let all the water gurgle off through the channel tunnel, towards France ..
