Mostly OK in Kent, some villages have copped it, but on the whole we are surviving. Steed's fine, he's up in his ivory tower surveying all around him.

Now seriously. And I thought I was having a hard time, rain has been pouring down over here for weeks now, breaking an 80 year record of the rainiest winter. The British Isles are taking a serious beating this winter.

In the latest news, as a result of the disastrous flooding in England the government has requested everyone to calm down as they simply don't have the financial resources to help all of the flood victims at the moment.

In other news, the government is fully supporting the 40 billion pound HS2

Which is quite handy since, due to a tunnel infrastructure problem, transport has been a bit patchy up north today around the Kilsby tunnel area.
