No problem and yeah, that would work for me as well.

At last...someone has woken up to the smell of the coffee.

The men accused of killing soldier Lee Rigby set out to cause "carnage", a court has heard.

Quote:

Michael Adebolajo, 29, and Michael Adebowale, 22, are accused of running Fusilier Rigby over in a car and hacking him to death.

In his closing speech, the prosecutor said their actions were "indefensible in the law of this country".

The judge dismissed Mr Adebolajo's defence that he was a "soldier of Allah". Both men deny the charges.

Mr Justice Sweeney told a jury at the Old Bailey that "nothing" said in Mr Adebolajo's evidence "amounts in law to a defence to this count [of murder]".

"Both defence counsel must and will respect that ruling in their speeches," he added.

Pretty clear steer on where this will end up. As it should. I reckon protective custody for a very long time will be the outcome.

Most definitely 'soap on a rope' :)

Before the verdict is announced...I wish I was as sure of winning the lottery come Saturday.

The jury in the trial of two men accused of murdering soldier Lee Rigby has retired to consider its verdict.

Michael Adebolajo, 29, and Michael Adebowale, 22, are accused of attacking Fusilier Rigby with a car before hacking him to death.

In his closing speech, the prosecutor said their actions were "indefensible in the law of this country".

The judge dismissed Mr Adebolajo's defence that he was a "soldier of Allah". Both men deny the charges.

I'm sure you won't win it if you don't have a ticket.

Guilty - no defence whatsoever. Just awaiting sentencing now which if Marine A got life that prolly means they'll get just ten years. :/\\!!

Jimbuna 12-19-13 08:35 AM

Took just 90 minutes for the jury to reach their verdict.

Quote:

Mr Justice Sweeney ordered that the decisions be heard in silence. He said he will pass sentence after a key appeal court ruling on the use of whole life terms in January.
Hopefully life in real terms.

By rights the judge should be now putting a black hanky chief on his head.

Sailor Steve 12-19-13 08:46 AM

Thought so.
They really need this :/\\chop with a dull blade.

Having just watched part of the interview in the cop shop, I would have to say that this cowardly act was premeditated. As a result they really do NEED the death penalty, hopefully with a dull blade.
