Think you mean Close Combat 5: Invasion Normandy? Longest Day is the remake of
Invasion Normandy which should work just fine on modern OS'. :hmmm:

Longest Day...maybe it will work alright, will have to take a look at it, I remember it being a bit touchy and prone to falling over, but there were patches. It's been a while.

The original bridge in Arnhem was destroyed by the Allies by air in October 1944 to prevent the Germans from using it to send reinforcements across it.

A new one in the same style was built in 1948 and renamed John Frostbrug in 1977.

Invasion Normandy is the original CC5
if that's what you're trying to run and have issues try this (worked like a charm for me with CC4 and CC5 on my modern systems)
